This page explains how to request the deletion of the personal data that Proporio (Avenue Blücher 168, 1180 Uccle, Belgium — VAT BE1025166868) holds about you, in line with the GDPR right to erasure and the requirements of third-party login providers (Google, Facebook).
1. Data concerned
When you use Proporio, we may hold:
- your account data (first name, last name, email, language, preferences, login history);
- data obtained from a login provider if you signed up via Google or Facebook (name, email address, profile picture and the identifier supplied by the social network);
- the business data you entered (properties, contracts, documents, finances) and the workspaces you own;
- billing and subscription data (via Stripe).
2. How to request deletion
You can request the deletion of your data in two ways:
a) By email (recommended)
Send a request to privacy@proporio.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my data". Where possible, include:
- the email address of your account;
- the login method used (email, Google or Facebook).
We acknowledge your request and carry out the deletion within 30 days. Where a legal obligation (in particular accounting) requires us to retain certain data, we will tell you and will only delete that data once the legal retention period has expired (see the Privacy Policy).
b) From your Facebook account
If you signed in via Facebook, you can remove Proporio's access at any time in Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites. This disconnects the app but does not, on its own, delete the data already stored with us: please also send us a deletion request by email (point a) for full erasure.
3. What is deleted
Once the procedure is complete, we irreversibly delete:
- your account and authentication credentials (including the link to Google / Facebook);
- the personal workspaces you solely own, together with the properties, contracts, documents and finances they contain;
- your uploaded files;
- your active subscriptions (cancelled via Stripe).
For shared workspaces you own, we offer — before deletion — to transfer ownership to another member so that other users' data is not erased.
4. Data retained despite the request
Some data may be kept for the time strictly necessary to:
- meet our legal accounting obligations (generally 7 years in Belgium and France, up to 10 years in the Netherlands);
- keep anonymised security logs.
This data is no longer used for any other purpose and is deleted or anonymised once the legal periods expire.
5. Data for which a manager is responsible
If your data was entered into Proporio by a manager (because you are a tenant, owner, guarantor or service provider), that manager is the data controller. Send your deletion request to them directly; we assist them in handling it. See the "Your obligations as a manager" section of the Privacy Policy.
6. Contact
